We would like to highlight the NASSS Framework as an excellent tool to evaluate CareTechnology adoption in Local Authorities and the NHS.
Think of it as a visual checklist that helps organisations figure out why some new Care Technologies succeed while others fail or get stuck halfway.
Recently, one of our customers, NHS DUMFRIES & GALLOWAY Dumfries and Galloway Council D&G HSCP, used the NASSS Framework to evaluate their pilot of Ethelcare.
It was fascinating to read how this simple but powerful tool helped them see:
(a) How CareTech works and delivers clear benefits
(b) The real challenges are around Funding, Roles, and a shared vision for remote care
In my opinion, both are equally important – kind of reminds me of the New wine in old wineskins approach.
For Local Authorities, NASSS is a brilliant way to assess CareTech projects before scaling – it shows not just if the tech is good, but if the SYSTEM IS READY; and this can be a starting point of your scaling journey.
Pleased that Ethel stood up well in the evaluation – and that the learning can help others roll out hybrid care successfully.
